Welcome to Songs of the Soul with Jason Ray.

I’ve been writing songs since 1993. Every song begins with a real experience, honest emotion, and a story worth telling. I’m a self-taught songwriter and composer who creates entirely by ear, blending Southern rock, blues, country, hip-hop, R&B, gospel, and cinematic influences into music that encourages, heals, and reminds people they’re never alone.

Every song is written, composed, and creatively directed by me. I also collaborate with live vocalists when a song calls for it. Modern AI production tools assist with production, arrangement, mixing, mastering, and vocal processing, while the stories, lyrics, melodies, and creative direction remain my own.
