SoftWave Ambience

I make long, steady sounds for sleeping, working and quieting a room.

Every sound here is made by me. Some of it is recorded — crickets on a summer night, a window air conditioner that refused to cycle, cicadas on the last hot afternoon of the year. The rest is built from scratch: I generate and shape the noise myself, layer by layer, so nothing here is borrowed from a sound library.

That means no two videos share the same audio. I don't reuse a recording just because it worked once.

The channel has two halves. The sleep videos are eight hours on a black screen — levelled to the same volume, no music, no sudden changes, nothing that wakes you at 3am. The Nature & Atmosphere videos are shorter and made for when you're awake; they keep the movement in, and they live in their own playlist so the two never mix.

If there's a sound you want and can't find, tell me in the comments. I keep a list.
