SOCKRHYTHM

No dark western. No gothic folk. No mystical cowboy soundtracks. No oversized cinematic drums pretending to be country.

Just the real thing — traditional country, honky-tonk, Bakersfield twang, classic Nashville ballads, western swing and slow barroom heartbreak. Pedal steel, fiddle, Telecaster, piano, jukebox stories, highways, home, bad decisions and last call.

We make new songs with the spirit of old records — the kind that could have come out of a Texas dancehall, a Bakersfield studio or a Nashville session somewhere between 1958 and 1975.

If it wouldn’t sound at home on country radio in 1968, it probably doesn’t belong here.

SOCKRHYTHM is for people who miss country before it became a subgenre factory.
