Social Contract Institute SCI

SCI works to promote political, economic, and social policies, programs, and practices for sustainable development in countries in transition to democracy, including but not limited to those in South East Europe, based on justice and equal opportunities. SCI fulfills this aim through research, surveys, public information and education, exchange of experience and information, partnerships and networking, grant-making, capacity development for public, private, and non-profit institutions, and advocacy. 
SCI’s activity prioritizes: (1) rule of law and good governance strengthening; (2) sustainable development; (3) wide civic participation; and (4) ensuring equal opportunities for marginalized social groups, including women and girls, as well as ethnic and social minorities.
