SOBA & RICE

Welcome to SOBA & RICE!
In the mountains of Kakuda, we are restoring an abandoned traditional Japanese farmhouse and building a soba restaurant completely from scratch.
On this channel, you'll find:
・Traditional farmhouse renovation
・The journey of opening a soba restaurant
・DIY projects
・Life in rural Japan
・Land clearing and brush cutting
・Soba noodle making
・Rice farming
・The realities of everyday life in the countryside
This is not just a story about chasing a dream.
It's a documentary of the challenges, failures, hard work, and small victories that come with building a soba restaurant deep in the Japanese countryside.
Join us as we document every step of the journey—from an unused farmhouse to a working soba restaurant.

Thank you for watching, and we hope you'll follow along until opening day!
