I have always been a bit obsessed with the quieter side of history. Not the wars and the politics, though those have their place, but the everyday stuff. What did a woman in 1750 actually do when she woke up in the morning? What did her bedroom smell like? What was she worried about before she fell asleep?

Every video here is about the lives of real women from the past. Their beauty routines, their daily rituals, the remedies they swore by, the customs that shaped their days. I research everything as carefully as I can and then I try to tell it the way I would tell a friend, slowly, with all the interesting bits left in.
