SIVERDE Digital Product Passport EU

SIVERDE explains the EU digital battery passport in plain language, for companies that manufacture, import or assemble batteries.

From 18 February 2027, electric vehicle batteries, light means of transport batteries (e-bikes and e-scooters) and industrial batteries over 2 kWh placed on the EU market will need a digital passport, accessed through a QR code. It falls on whoever manufactures them or imports them into the EU, including anyone selling them under their own brand.

We publish short videos on who is affected, what data is required and how to prepare in time. We work from official sources and keep what is already mandatory separate from what is still being developed. The information on this channel is general and does not replace an analysis of each case.
