Simian Beard

I'm SimianBeard, an independent musician, lyricist, and documentarian based in Phoenix, Arizona. I make music that doesn't do comfort for its own sake. If something is worth saying I say it, regardless of whether it's easy to hear.
My current album, A Clenched Jaw and Blood in the Mouth, is about six people whose lives were absolutely changed by ICE detention, and some of them didn't make it out alive. It's available as a free download on Bandcamp because the point is getting it heard, not selling it.
More work is coming. This is the place to find it.
