Sikh National Archives of Canada

Sikh National Archives of Canada: Preserving the past, building the future.

Established in 1999 as a registered charity, the Sikh National Archives of Canada (SNAC) collects, preserves, and shares historic, religious, and cultural materials documenting Sikh heritage and the Canadian Sikh experience. Our growing digital archive makes accessible a collection housed since 1984 at our Ottawa office. With your support, we are building a comprehensive website that will allow you to read and search the entire collection online, access Panjabi and English texts, use tools like flip-book readers, read-aloud features, and download in multiple formats.

By supporting SNAC, you help build:

Inclusion: Preserving diverse Canadian Sikh stories.

Innovation: Expanding access through digital tools.

Grassroots Impact: Sustained by 95% individual donors and volunteers.

Future Vision: Ensuring Sikh narratives remain a vital part of Canadian history.
