Shroud Of Bereavement

New Hampshires' own Shroud of Bereavement... A genre defining veteran of the metal scene for nearly 3 decades. Dan Robinson, the mastermind behind the music has spent over a decade to compose this soulful offering that blends a perfect pallet of modern metal with classical instruments like violin, piano, cellos; layers his anguished screams, with operatic female vocals, shredding guitar solos and deep poetic lyrics. A salute to 90's Death Doom with a modern edge. On this new album, he finely crafts profoundly atmospheric hymns by merging genres such as Neo Classical, Death/Doom, progressive, and black metal elements to paint dark, moody and melodic landscapes. At times, overwhelmingly oppressive, and beautiful, others, mournful, ugly, and angry.. Shroud of Bereavement's newest album "A Beautiful Winter" is available only through Robinsons new label WillowSoul Production
