Shenandoah County Historical Society

The Shenandoah County Historical Society is a volunteer organization comprised of people who share a mutual interest in the rich and abundant history of Shenandoah County. We work with writers, historians, genealogists, collectors, preservationists, and other members of the Shenandoah County of Virginia community.  Our work includes preservation of historical collections, as well as historic buildings and sites.  We share Shenandoah County history through various public programs and exhibits.  The public lecture series programs that are held in Edinburg, Virginia are made available in full as YouTube video presentations.
