You don’t have to if you all are men. But we have to take permission. Because  we are women and married. Our parents even don’t mind asking permission to our parents-in-law as they believed “we never belonged to them. Have you heard ‘beti paraya dhan’. Yes, we were always considered as someone’s asset since birth by our parents and the immediate family”.

Shall we continue to live like this?
No. Atleast some of us don’t want. We don’t need permission to meet our parents. We don’t want to hide supporting our parents financially. We don’t want our parents to hesitate to live with us.
