I'm Sheeda, a Black American woman married to a Jamaican man for 20+ years, raising three sons in a blended Jamaican and Black American home in South Florida. Jersey raised me first. Kingston found me at 16 and never let go.
This channel is where I document my real life at 50: navigating perimenopause out loud (with a little help from my recurring alter ego, Ms. Peri), blending two cultures under one roof, and figuring out what reinvention looks like after two decades of marriage and a career built in fashion design.
