The Santa Cruz Childrens Museum of Discovery

Nestled within the Capitola Mall, the Santa Cruz Children's Museum of Discovery invites families to come learn through the power of play. We create engaging programming and hands-on educational content for children ages 0-10, sparking curiosity and imagination in young learners throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

We're located around the corner from Target in Capitola Mall—a perfect stop for families exploring Northern California with young children. Come explore our new immersive Enchanted Forest exhibit and discover the magic of our AI-powered Animation Station, where kids bring their creativity to life! If you're searching for things to do in Santa Cruz with infants, toddlers, or elementary-aged kids, we'd love to welcome you.
