SAFE - Spirituality Accessible for Everyone

An organization based in the University of Florida aiming to demystify spirituality, which we understand to be the sum of all the ways people attempt to improve their relationships with their inner worlds and mental health. We take an integrative approach in the club, hosting talks from preachers and gurus of various traditions, as well as academics with backgrounds in philosophy, psychology, and neuroscience. We also discuss our personal practices and ideas openly, hoping to make such conversation less taboo. We provide UF students a community with whom they can explore their beliefs and cultivate practices with open minds, in a way not divorced from science and other aspects of their worldviews to ultimately improve their quality of life. Here, we hope to do much of the same.
