Rutu Shukla

Hi! My name is Rutu Shukla, and I just want to share some of my achievements on here!

I play the clarinet, bass clarinet, and trying to learn the bass guitar. I also like to sing, but only for fun, I haven’t tooken any lessons for it.

I love theatre, I have always admired how each individual in a production plays an equal important role in the whole of a show. To me, theatre is the jack of all arts, such talented minds from all different variations of art, work together to bring a smile on the audience’s faces.

I don’t have an interest in being an actor in a production (its too much pressure lol), but I’ve recently fell in love with pit band. I have played in the pit ensemble for Urinetown, 9 to 5, and hopefully Lightning Thief.

Besides music, I am planning on being in the medical field. I love working with people and making them feel comfortable. I’ve volunteered all over the place, but I have especially grown fond with the elders within the community.

Thanks for reading!
