🎬 Russell Lahodny | Filmmaker, as Public Servant, filming the untold stories we need to see 🎥

I started out chasing headlines and shutter clicks — camera in hand, caffeine in veins, and the faint smell of arena dirt in the air. From boxing rings and bull-riders to state capitols and hockey rinks, I learned fast: everyone’s got a story — you just have to catch it before it walks away. BUT somewhere between snapping shots of governors, climbing Mount Whitney and my own CEO ambitions, I realized stills weren’t enough. I want motion. Voice. Meaning.

This channel? It’s where photojournalism grows up, loosens its tie, and tells stories that actually make you feel something. Sometimes it’s film, sometimes it’s faith, sometimes it’s just the chaos of being a dad with a camera and a dream.

I blend documentary grit with cinematic heart. Find short films, behind-the-scenes chaos, leadership insights, and the occasional tribute video (we all start somewhere).
