Basic Rugby

Just stuff.

First played Rugby as an under 5 for the Eskview Rugby Club - bare feet in the frost and the best thing was the sausage in bread after the game from the Bay View Butchery.

Played rugby right through to University and stopped after a few concussions, so gave coaching a go at Massey Uni. Coached in the mid to early 2000s - mainly age grade sides like Js, Ks and Colts. Great lads and great teams.

Always loved the history of the game and so while learning some new stuff I put together the database and webpages for what feeds into http://stats.allblacks.com - I still maintain that - over 20 years now.

I like to take photos and video of rugby matches and in recent years I've been doing that at the local high school as a volunteer.
Love rugby and what it means to the country. Made many friends via rugby. I'll love it to the day I die.
Kia Ora to that
