Rotherham United Football Club (nicknamed The Millers or The Merry Millers) are an English professional football club based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, who compete in League Two, the fourth tier of English football. The club's colours have traditionally been red and white, although these have evolved through history. Their current home strip is red and white; their away kit is light blue with white trim. The club play their home games at The Don Valley Stadium whilst the new stadium is being built.

The club have spent the majority of their history in the Football League's third tier, though their most recent success came in the early 2000s when they found themselves competing in the Football League Championship, the second tier of English football. They have also enjoyed recent success including reaching the play off finals at Wembley Stadium in May 2010.

The club's captain is Ryan Cresswell.
