Hug First

Hug First is one short parenting video a day, for the moments every parent knows: the meltdown in the shop, the homework fight, the bedtime that never ends.

Each episode takes one habit most of us grew up with (the threat, the bribe, the comparison, the slap), explains what research says it does to a child, and gives you one small thing to try tonight.

Every episode names its source: Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish, Haim Ginott, Harvard's Center on the Developing Child, Ed Tronick's Still-Face experiment, and more.

No shaming. If you're tired, you're not a bad parent. You're a parent.

I'm Roshan. I'm not a doctor or a psychologist; I read the research and bring you what it says, with the sources.

New episode every day, in Hindi and English.
