Rosario Gorgone Piano Composer

In the most touching and memorable moments of our lives we are moved by what we feel; we experience joy, pain, love. It happens after a loss, a hug, a wound. It's not necessarily with music, as within it, we can experience life without an external event, as the music takes place inside ourselves.

I first started playing classical music at the age of 13, as the piano music struck me with a multitude of emotions and feelings otherwise unspeakable. Playing Bach, Chopin, Schumann, Baroque or romantic pieces, kept me company during the difficult years of adolescence. Then I felt the need to create original music matching my inner world, as music is first of all a way of being.

I sit every day at the piano longing to reach the deepest strings of living, giving voice to what shakes, excites and aches us or makes us fly. Waiting for the wave that takes far away, somewhere we have never been before, experiencing unseen landscapes of the soul.
