Roll With Life

Amputee BJJ - Learning the art of jiu jitsu as an amputee, adaptive athlete, age 62. I train with BJJ blackbelt coach Jackie Jarvis, based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, in the UK.

I think of myself as a journey-man in the world of martial arts and combat sports having started over 40 years ago with Shotokan Karate, Atemi Ju Jutsu, Aikido, kung fu and tai chi. I'm just as interested in the philosophy of the traditional martial arts as I am the application and how we can integrate that philosophy into our practise as well as our day to day lives.

All the best in your own learning and practise,
Phil
