About Richard Kahn.  
For over 35 years, Los Angeles-based pianist, arranger, composer, and educator Richard Kahn has performed his unique arrangements of jazz, Latin jazz and popular music. As a pianist, he has been booked in virtually every live public venue in Los Angeles. He has performed for the Emperor of Japan, the Sultan of Brunei, the Prime Minister of Israel, the President of the Philippines, the Prime Minister of Romania, and countless officials of the United States government. He has entertained at the homes and affairs of hundreds of film and television industry figures, as well as significant contributors in the worlds of art, music, theater, dance and sports. He is currently Professor of Music and Director of Commercial Music at Los Angeles Valley College, where he has taught for 20 years.
