R for the Intimidated

Welcome to R for the Intimidated! Originally a course on Datacamp, we have relocated to youtube to ensure that our content remains completely free and accessible to all! This 26-lesson course was designed, written, and recorded by Annika Salzberg in 2015, with the particular goal of teaching R to those with no coding experience whatsoever. Though it's been many years since the course was produced, the majority of the topics covered in this course are fundamental to the language and our lessons remain applicable. As an ecologist learning R herself, Annika has seen many coding tutorials that are not written with non-coders in mind - with difficult to understand examples, jargon, and inadequate explanations. Her goal in developing this course was to fill that gap, and teach R folks who don't have a background in coding. Whether you're just starting your coding journey, want to brush up on individual topics, or just refresh your baseline knowledge, this course is for you!
