The Rewilding Journal

I have moved to the middle of the English countryside. This is not a line I ever imagined I would find myself writing.

I have precisely zero country-life capability. People who know me, cannot believe I have moved here. But I want to change this. I want to fully embrace everything that living in the English countryside could entail.

The good, the bad and the muddy.

The definition of “Rewilding” is about letting nature take the lead: reintroducing plants and animals and working at nature’s pace. That is what this little corner of the internet, “The Rewilding Journal” is going to be all about.

Perhaps you’ve considered moving further out of the city yourself. Perhaps you love the beauty of rural England. Perhaps you want to read stories about rediscovering nature and slow living. Or perhaps you simply want to laugh at a city girl trying to survive her first few seasons in the countryside.

Whatever brought you here, I’d be delighted to have you join me.
