Tortoise Q is born out of Jacksonville, FL. We've been blessed to come from a long line of GREAT cooks. A few years ago when my own wife got pregnant, the desire to really learn how to cook got me outside firing up the grill. I've been cooking since I was a kid, but REALLY started trying to learn the craft once we got our bun in the oven.

Tortoise Q style is "use what you got". Never let a lack of ingredients keep you from cooking a delicious meal for your family. Cooking at home is healthier, more reasonably price & BETTER TASTING than eating out (fast food). The tradition of the family sitting & eating together is something that is worth bringing back in a big way.

All cooking will be on some easily available equipment so that viewers can follow along at home. Thanks so much for watching =-)
