Re-storyz

Glass artist Carmen Simmonds began Re-storyz in reaction to environmental concerns and the Covid 19 pandemic. She has created a workshop, the Sculptbox as an accessible option for people wanting to learn the craft of lost wax casting in glass from the comfort of their own homes. Building upon her life long art practice including 12 years of teaching glass, the Sculptbox is a fantastic way for complete beginners to gain an insight into this wonderful technique. Considering the environment is a very important aspect of Re-storyz and sustainable practices are built in where possible (the use of recycled glass is being explored for future workshops). Re-storyz is about doing things differently and being more aligned with nature, while nurturing the creative within all of us. Carmen strongly believes we all have our own unique story and encourages us to express this through beautiful glass!
