After a challenging accident in 2023, I found solace and healing in the creative process. Painting became a form of therapy, allowing me to express my emotions and rediscover a sense of peace and purpose. The act of creating, of capturing the beauty of the world around me, brought a renewed sense of joy and gratitude to my life.

The Hampton Roads region, steeped in maritime history, has a profound influence on my work. The sight of fishing boats returning to the harbor, the majestic ships passing through the Chesapeake Bay, and the ever-changing play of light on the water all find their way into my watercolor paintings.

I strive to capture the essence of this dynamic region – its historical significance, its natural beauty, and the spirit of its people.
