Rabbath Institute Los Angeles

Welcome to my bass channel! I created these videos for you (all my elementary, middle school and high school students), to guide you during your practice sessions. I will be posting videos of scales, pieces from the Progressive Repertoire by George Vance and etudes from the New Technique by François Rabbath. I will be playing most pieces under tempo so you can follow along. Please watch the video first, practice the music a few times on your own, then play along with me. Perfection is not the goal. What is important is your individual growth and for you to find your own voice. Strive to be better than yourself each day. Enjoy the beautiful sound of the double bass!

Happy practicing!
