Pulkingham Layne

Stringology, the second album from guitarists and friends Darin Layne and David Pulkingham.

It is the result of mutual love of the guitar, instrumental music and 25 years of dear friends playing together as often as their busy schedules would allow. It is in turns giddy with playfulness and heartbreaking in sweet sadness. It traverses styles from Choro to Jazz to Classical with nods to Flamenco and Klezmer music. It is a heartfelt expression of joy in music and camaraderie from two world class players who have every intention of moving the listener…..and continuing to do so for quite some time.
