Project Jasper

Aşkınlık is a documentary series and events that will be shaped around the stories, experiences and creative process of artist women, living in Turkey with different disciplines and ideologies. Each episode of the documentary is planned to be 5-8 minutes.

Transcendence/ Aşkınlık is a word that can be found in many art and philosophy texts derived from the root of “crossing the borders”. For this project; the artist, who defines themselves as "transcendent" for different reasons, shares their stories and impressions about art. The keyword of our project is “impressions”; encompasses all kinds of emotions, features and associations. That explains the aim and stance of the project considering the power of ideas, impressions and processes.
