Project Homestead: La Maison Blanche 

Working on a house that we grew up in, that’s at least 50 years old.  We are having to tear down a lot of rotten wood and replace most of the plumbing. We are doing pretty much all the work ourselves with very little experience on most of the issues. We are learning as we go. The house has always been called “The Whitehouse” since we were kids, I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters and we still call it “the whitehouse “ still to this day. I have not decided if in the end it will still be a white-house…but we will see. It is a long process but we (my husband and myself) will be trying to be in it by Christmas 2025. We have our fingers crossed. Come along on this journey to upgrade and renovate “The White House” …happy to have you here. Thanks.
