prep and purpose

I'm Vanessa. I'm a mom, I'm almost 50, and I've had money and I've had none. I left California in my 40s and started over in Charlotte, North Carolina. I've worked as a flight attendant, in sales, and in restaurant management, and people have always come to me for advice.

Prep & Purpose is a podcast for the woman who runs her house and is tired of carrying everything alone. You make good money and still feel broke. You've tried planners, budgets, meal plans, and meal prep, and nothing sticks. You keep starting over from zero.

I teach household systems that everyone in your house can share: a budget you can keep, a plan for groceries and dinner, and a way to hand off the mental load. The goal is to get your time back so you are no longer last.

Every episode covers one real problem and one clear fix. Faith is part of how I run my house, and you'll hear biblical stewardship along the way.

New episodes every Sunday and Wednesday.
