Prashanth Gopal Shastry trained in  Bharatanatyam under his mother Guru Late Prabhavathi  Gopal Shastry founder Naatyakalakshetra,  later from Guru Lalitha Srinivasan and Guru Sri V P Dhananjayans.  Awards received - Singaramani,  PRESIDENTS Gold Medal 1990  for his  Tandavam , Mayura Nartana Ellavarasan 2012, Shivarathri Natyanjali awards &  Vishaarad in Bharatanatyam. Acted as Hero in all the South Indian movies & television series .
2020 received the Karnataka State  Nadaprabhu kempegowda prashasti by the BBMP for his service in dance . 
Currently working in an ETV Telugu series Manasanta Nuvve in a lead role & received the Best character award by the Telugu Swathi awards for 2022.
