Poopshkin - Kids' songs and stories

Poopshkin’s name was based on a black kitten with damaged eyes that pooped everywhere and the poet Pushkin. It is suspected that the TV show Hogan’s Heroes may have used the term in one episode. A Poopshkin is a term of endearment for a loved one, a young child, or a woman.

Poopshkin’s book series is illustrated for young children and is written for older children. The books are known to contain challenging words. However, recent releases put less emphasis on expanding children’s vernacular. A spinoff book series, Baby Poopshkin, will focus solely on colorful illustrations and simple words for preschool children. An animated Poopshkin cartoon is currently in production.

Origin story: Baby Poopshkin was found floating in watermelon on the ocean by Lori, a Santa Monica Firefighter, and her daughter, Juney. Lori adopted Poopshkin, and he grew up in the fire station. He makes friends in the neighborhood and goes on many adventures.
