Transforming with Poetry - Poesia Indignada

The moral, political and economic inconsistencies of the capitalist system, that many artists had already been denouncing over the last decades, had turned out to be of a substantial nature and extremely difficult to solve: environmental disaster, wars, economic, social and political inequalities and intolerance are rife.

This is the YouTube channel of Poesía Indignada, a global publication in Spanish and English and a digital amplifier for poetry of protest whose objective is to contribute, though artistic expression, to create a better world for all. We aim to add to the efforts of other platforms and groups, such as 100 Thousand Poets for Change, from a poetic perspective by sharing poems and translations of poems in different languages.

Transforming with Poetry holds a monthly event at Inkwell Arts, in Leeds (UK), every second Saturday of the month.

Thanks to Lee Dorovan for the logo, a section of the work "Pensamiento", and to all the artists and organisations who support us.
