We are dedicated to educating, advocating, and transforming the justice system into having fairer, safer, and more effective practices. We believe that everyone should be treated equally and fairly without regard to their race, religion, or background.

We advocate that all children in the justice system have basic human rights that include sentencing review mechanisms, the least permissible length of sentence when incarceration is necessary, and for the elimination of racial disparities by transforming how the justice system treats youth of color.

#PleadThe8th | Florida Youth Justice is a statewide, nonpartisan movement whose central goal is to end Florida’s cruel, inhumane, racist, and unconstitutional treatment of youth in the justice system.
