Piccirillo Handicraft Center

EN ӏ The Piccirillo Handicraft Center, established in 2014 by the “John Paul II Foundation” in partnership with the Custody of the Holy Land, preserves traditional Bethlehem crafts. It trains artisans and youth in "Mother of Pearl, Olive Wood, and Ceramic" crafts. Since 2017, the center has provided jobs and taught restoration of ancient Mother of Pearl masterpieces. Currently, 35 people are employed, with potential to create more jobs.

IT ӏ Il Centro di Artigianato Piccirillo, fondato nel 2014 dalla "Fondazione Giovanni Paolo II" in collaborazione con la Custodia della Terra Santa, preserva le arti di Betlemme. Forma artigiani e giovani nelle arti del "Madreperla, Legno d'Olivo e Ceramica". Dal 2017, ha creato posti di lavoro e insegna il restauro dei capolavori in madreperla. Attualmente 35 persone lavorano nel centro, con possibilità di crearne altri.
