Perry Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

Welcome!

Perry CC is a member congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). 

Our beliefs:

- No Creed But Christ: This means that we confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and we proclaim him Lord and Savior of the World and this is all anyone needs to join with us in fellowship and holy communion.

- No Book but the Bible: This means that we consider all of scripture to be "breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness." 

-The Centrality of the Table: All believers in Christ as well as those seeking Christ anew, are welcome to partake in the Lord's Supper, which is celebrated every Sunday.

-The Freedom of Conscience: As Disciples of Christ, in our understanding of Christ, our interpretation of scripture, and our congregational practices, we hold to the following axiom: "In essentials unity; in nonessentials, liberty; in all things charity" - attributed to Rupertus Meldenius.
