Lino has lived as a hikikomori for five years when a mysterious girl suddenly appears in his life. With the help of this fearless girl, Lino finally steps back out into society—but for some reason, the world is even harsher with her by his side.

Unlike Lino, who keeps wanting to crawl back into his room, the girl becomes obsessed with the thrills of modern civilization.
