Peat Metal

Peat-Metal is a NERC-funded project, working towards addressing the global challenge of mitigating risk of disturbances releasing heavy metals stored in contaminated peatlands .Peat-Metal aims to build an international network of peatland researchers to share expertise and ideas, progressing a research agenda seeking to optimise ecosystem restoration as a means of limiting heavy metal mobilisation for the benefit of human and ecosystem health.
