Paul Ashwell - Backyard Hammocks

I've spent 25+ years designing, selling, and living with backyard hammocks.

This channel is where I share what I've learned — how to hang one properly, what separates a hammock that lasts twenty years from one that lasts two, and why so much of the advice out there is written by people who've never set a post.

Not a camping channel. No tarps, no ridgelines, no ultralight gear. This is about hammocks in yards, on porches, between trees, on stands — the kind you actually lie in all summer.

What you'll find here:
Installation done right — post setting, spacing, hardware, hanging heights
Honest takes on hammock styles and what the marketing leaves out
Weave, fabric, and construction explained
Repairs, care, and getting more years out of what you own

I'm the founder of Key West Hammock Company (kwhammocks.com), so yes — I sell hammocks. I'll always tell you when that's relevant. The advice here works regardless of whose hammock you buy.
