super secret laboratory

This channel is dedicated to sharing many types of research and processes occurring at the SHH Lab @ UBC, and exploring the communication of what I do in more interesting and compelling ways. That includes investigations to do with sound design, music creation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data sovereignty, and xR. Some research are future thinking, some absurdist provocations and others are more tangible. Media created here (and not entirely with AI) are experiments in themselves. This portal allows for the reimagining of what research could be, rescuing the term from its associations with drawn out, boring, and overly explained processes that involve alot of lingo and difficult to understand words. Content created for this or other portals is not intended to be research slop, but if interpreted as such then responses should spark new research questions into the role of generative tools in mobilizing research.
