Pathodoodles By Deeksha Sikri

Welcome to Pathodoodles!
I am Dr. Deeksha Sikri, a Pathologist actively involved in teaching medical students all across the country. Ever since I read Pathology for the first time, I've always been fascinated with the subject. It is the basis of disease, the very foundation of medicine. A fever on the outside explained by formation of PGE2 on the inside. Purpura on the outside explained by low platelet count on the inside. Nausea and headache on the outside explained by small cell lung cancer induced SIADH on the inside. Linking symptoms to mechanisms is the underlying beauty of this subject, and I feel privileged to be able to share my interpretation of Pathology.
With this channel, I hope to bring to both undergraduates and postgraduates in Pathology a simplified approach so that together we can unravel and appreciate the subject.
