Paramworks

We build the physical tools we genuinely want to use ourselves: combining robust embedded electronics, thoughtful mechanical ergonomics, and transparent open-source firmware.

The name combines computing parameters—the essential variables that shape a system—and draws inspiration from the Sanskrit param (fundamental, core).

Our flagship instrument, PARAM KEY, is engineered for instant tactile control over your home:
 - Sub-50ms Latency: Instant-wake ESP-NOW protocol eliminates Wi-Fi association delays. Push a button, your home responds immediately.
 - Ergonomic Physical Control: 20 mechanical switches and a dynamic 2.0″ LCD display let you navigate scenes, media, and climate without looking at a phone screen.
 - 100% Local-First: Zero cloud reliance, zero telemetry, powered by ESPHome. Fully open-source KiCad schematics and 3D printable files.
