Papawhakaritorito Trust

This is the home of stories created by Papawhakaritorito Trust, a charitable trust based in Aotearoa New Zealand that elevates Indigenous seed, soil and food sovereignty through education, research, and practices that decolonise our current food system. The Trust was founded in 2021 and is run by co-founders and well-respected kairangahau researchers, Dr Jessica Hutchings (Tūhoe, Ngāi Tahu, Ngāti Huirapa, Gujarati) and Dr Jo Smith (Kāi Tahu, Kāti Māmoe, Waitaha).
