Art & Tolerance is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that builds cultural understanding through the arts.

WE BELIEVE EVERY WORK OF ART IS AN INVITATION- NOT SIMPLY TO LOOK OR LISTEN, BUT TO UNDERSTAND ONE ANOTHER

At the heart of our work is PANJABI POETICA, a community initiative that brings Panjabi poetry into contemporary public life—not as an artifact of the past, but as a living tradition to be read, sung, discussed, and experienced together. 

We carry Panjabi poetry into new spaces and new conversations through community reading circles at public libraries, musical performances like today, and literary conversations,  inviting new audiences to discover one of the world's GREAT literary traditions.

More broadly, Art & Tolerance curates exhibitions, performances, and public programs that create opportunities for people to encounter one another's histories, cultures, and lived experiences.
