The Palme Assassination: The Lost Trail is the first documentary series about Christer A, the only man in the investigation of whom we know for certain that he had the right weapon, the ability to commit the murder and a clear motive. For the first time we hear policemen like Jan Olsson and Pål Johansson, journalists like Jan Mosander and even relatives and acquaintances of Christer A speak openly about this suspect. The picture they paint is disturbing. 

The series was made by Marc Pennartz and Peter Isaksson between 2022 and 2024, and released January 2025.. Earlier, Pennartz has published two critically acclaimed books on the murder of Olof Palme. He was the first to publish details from the investigation into Christer A after the police closed the Palme investigation in 2020.
