Outdoor Business Alliance - WNC

Formerly called the Outdoor Gear Builders - The Outdoor Business Alliance (OBA) is a membership association made up of Western North Carolina-based outdoor businesses who understand the idea that collaboration leads to innovation and competitive advantage.  Since 2013, the OBA has been fostering a prosperous outdoor business​ community by cultivating, connecting, and supporting the outdoor industry throughout Western North Carolina.

Founded by a small group of gear manufacturers, the OBA now includes more than 120 member companies and organizations representing all outdoor industry business segments. Our members include: Gear Builders, Experience Providers, Skills Instructors, Outfitters, Retail Shops, Supporting Businesses, and Nonprofits.
