other: M:other is a Vienna based Improvisation-Trio featuring Judith Schwarz (extended drums), Jul Dillier (prepared piano) and Arthur Fussy (modular synthesizer). 
The goal of other: M:other is to create a rhythmic sound symbiosis. Acoustic sounds merge with electronic, percussive impulses grow, drawing their inspiration equally from experimental music and beat-oriented club music. With an unusual instrumentation, extended ways of playing the instruments and a free improvisational background, the trio succeeds in musically reacting to its surroundings. 
The previously missing link between free jazz improvisation and club music takes place right here. The three masters of ceremonies revel in analog electroacoustics and rhythmic pulsating outburst.
